Zsolt Révay studied radiochemistry at the Veszprém University of Chemical Engineering.
He graduated in 1985, received his dr. univ degree in 1988, and the Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences is 2010.
Between 1988 and 2010 he worked at the Institute of Isotopes of the HAS, and was responsible for nuclear analytics, mainly for prompt gamma activation analysis.
After moving to Germany in 2011, took over the PGAA group at the Garching Research Reactor. From 2013, he also serves as the Editor-i-Chief of the J Radioanal Nucl Chem.
